The Covington County Child Advocacy Center is proud to announce its 7th Annual Cowboys for Kids Rodeo, a thrilling event that combines family fun with a great cause. Mark your calendars for Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Covington County Arena for two unforgettable evenings of rodeo excitement.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. each night before the rodeo starts at 7 p.m.

This year’s rodeo promises to be bigger and better than ever featuring a variety of attractions for all ages including exciting rodeo competitions, Mutton Bustin’ for young cowboys and cowgirls, a KidsZone with family-friendly activities, and delicious concessions.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $8 for the first child, and $5 each for additional children.

“Don’t miss this opportunity to support the Covington County Child Advocacy Center while enjoying a night of rodeo thrills. Bring your family and friends for an evening of entertainment that makes a difference in our community,” CAC Executive Director Mindy Barton said.

The Covington County Child Advocacy Center eases the trauma for children who have been reported as victims of sexual and severe physical abuse. This is done by providing a home-like atmosphere and reducing the number of interviews during the investigative and referral processes by implementing a “multi-disciplinary” team approach. Direct services include forensic interviews, forensic medicals, counseling, court preparation for children, and multi-disciplinary case reviews.
