A two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday, Oct. 15, at approximately 6:45 a.m., has claimed the life of an Andalusia man.

Brandon K. Veasey II, 29, was fatally injured when the 2023 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle he was operating was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Austin C. Ingram, 21, of Andalusia. Veasey was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Covington County 65 and U.S. 84, approximately 1 mile east of the Sanford city limits. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the incident.
