The Kiwanis Club of Andalusia will collect relief items to deliver to Hurricane Helene victims in Valdosta, Georgia, at the Kiwanis Community Center beginning Thursday, Oct. 3, at 8 a.m.

The public is asked to drop off supplies in trailers that will be placed at the Kiwanis parking lot. The receiving agency will be Second Harvest of South Georgia in Valdosta.

Items needed are non-perishable food, water, personal hygiene products, charcoal, baby items, can openers, batteries, paper products, and bug spray.

“We will need assistance taking the goods and stacking them in the trailer. If you can help, please let me know,” Don Cotton said.

Those who would like to help may contact Cotton at 334-804-4010.
