AIK enjoys successful showing at WYKKO in Panama City Beach

Three members of Andalusia Isshinryu Karate competed in the 36th Annual WYKKO (World Yoshukai Karate Kobudo Organization) Sunshine Classic in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The tournament was hosted by Directors Hiroaki Toyama and Mike Culbreth, Mr. Jimmy Croley, and other Panama City area Yoshukai black belts.
Karate Schools from the panhandle area, Alabama, and Georgia competed.
Andalusia Isshinryu Karate members placed in the following:
- Lawrence Sargent earned first place in beginning weapons, first place in yellow belt kata, and first place in yellow belt fighting.
- Johnathan Rudd received first place in youth 12-14-year-old black belt weapons.
- Mark Rudd took third place in senior black belt kata and first place in senior black belt fighting.
