Opp (2-0, 1-0 4A Region 2) will bid for a third straight win and second straight in region play as Pike County (1-1, 1-0) comes calling for a crucial matchup on Friday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m.

This will be the 24th matchup between the two teams in a series that began exactly 100 years ago. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 14-9, but the Bobcats have won the last two contests.

Last week, Opp went on the road and completed a comeback in the second half over New Brockton, 30-27. Pike County made the trip to Geneva and earned a 21-15 win.

The Bobcats held on for a 22-13 home win over the Bulldogs in 2023.
