Mrs. Willowdean “Wendy” Broder Westmoreland, 85, of Opp, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, Sept. 14, at First Methodist Church of Opp with Minister Jeff Stovall officiating. The family will visit with friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Westmoreland of Opp; three daughters and sons-in-law, De’Lynne Luckey of Fairhope, Jennifer and Scott Simmons of Opp, Jacque and Randy Pebworth of Opp; stepchildren, Patrick Broder, Teresa Hudson, Diane Crow, and Loraine Volk; her grandchildren, Michael Taylor, Sammie Lewis, Sam Luckey, Lexie Porrello, Jonathan Saunders, Timothy Lewis, Ryan Saunders, Juliana Broder, Jacoby Broder, Jonathan Pebworth, Lauren Lawson, and Beth Covin; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Cox; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne Hughes and Greg and Verla Faulkner.

She is preceded in death by her son, Walter Keith Taylor; parents, Dennis and Velma Hughes; and siblings, Jenelle Bray, Mary Gibson, Billy Hughes, and Syble Rider.
