Harry Denver Hensley of Andalusia passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, in an Opp hospital.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, 11 a.m., at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m., until time to depart for the graveside. Rev. Scott Donaldson will officiate.
Left to cherish his memory are, his son, Kyle Hensley (Lesley) of Andalusia; daughters, Jeannie Hensley of Oklahoma and Kathy Woodham (Joey) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Kevin Hensley, Landrey Hensley, Jessica Ecoffey, Shawn Rhodes Jr., Brittany Rhodes, Kaylee Rhodes, Charles Ecoffey, Garrett Bess, and Aaron Blackwell; sister, Patricia Qualls of Florida; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Hensley; daughter, Tracy Hensley; and his parents, Otis Hensley and Edna Smith Hensley.
Mr. Hensley retired from the cotton mill. He was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and was a skilled gardener with a “green thumb.”
