Gwynnetta Marie Glisson was called to her heavenly home on August 22, 2024.

She was born on April 22, 1943, in Andalusia to the late Sam and Flossie Glisson. She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Wayen Glisson, and her brothers and sisters, Jackie, Kenny, Connie, Roger, Bob, Ottis, and Wendell.

Survivors include her son, Jim E. Glisson; granddaughter, Monique; sister, Joyce Ellen Notaro; brother, Anthony Paul Glisson.

A celebration of her life will be held at Oakey Ridge Church on Lindsey Bridge Road in Andalusia on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. You are welcome to attend and share your memories.
