Clifford Smith Thomas III, 47, of DeFuniak Springs passed away August 23, 2024.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 30, 1 p.m., at West Highland Assembly of God Church. The family received friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Stacey Gaston officiated. Interment followed in the Bradley Cemetery in Wing.
Clifford was born on Sept. 23, 1976, in Algiers, Louisiana to Clifford Smith Thomas II and Margaret Colleen Karney. He spent one year in college and spent most of his career as a glass glazier. He was a member of West Highland Assembly of God in Andalusia, loved fishing, and obtained his Level 2 Rocket Technician Certification.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Angelia Smith Thomas; daughter, Ariel Michelle Thomas (Austen Goode) of Huntsville, Alabama; his furry friend, “Mr. Mann”; mother and step-father, Margaret (John) Monde of Abita Springs, Louisiana; step-father, Kenneth Mark Helmstetter of Covington, Louisiana; paternal step-grandmother, Joyce Helmstetter of Metairie, Louisiana; step-mother, Lila Jo Thomas of Gantt, brothers, Jeffrey Thomas (Wendi) of Lakeland, Florida, Christian Helmstetter (Ashley) of Manderville, Louisiana, Carlos Henderson (Amanda) of Gantt, and Kevin Henderson of Andalusia, sister, Ashley Helmstetter of Abita Springs, Louisiana; step-sister, Vicky Camilleri (Chris); and numerous nieces and nephews.
