The Andalusia Public Library has awarded D.J. Damons as a top reader in its Summer Reader Program.

D.J. read 370 books and was presented with an assortment of prizes, including pizza from Lost Pizza Co.

APL Children’s Librarian Caryl Lee Ray said this year had the largest turnout in her 17 years of employment with 1,465 people attending the 2024 Summer Reading Program.

The Andalusia Public Library is located at 212 South Three Notch Street and is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
