Sherry Lynn Bass, age 61, of Andalusia passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, in a Dothan hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 10 a.m., at Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle. Rev. John Hunt and Rev. Travis Day will officiate and provide special music. Interment will be held in the Shady Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery following the services on Saturday.

Left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 40 years, Anthony Edd Bass of Andalusia; sons, Nathan Bass (Micgayle) of Andalusia and Gabe Bass (Whitney) of Locust, Georgia; brother, Dewayne Scroggins (Rita) of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Josiah Bass, Tucker Bass, Declan Bass and Nolan Bass.

Lynn was the daughter of Wilson Scroggins and Estelle Easley Scroggins. She was a faithful member of Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle and was the church’s secretary for 38 years.
