An Andalusia woman was killed in a vehicle accident in Okaloosa County, Florida Monday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, which does not release names of those killed in vehicle accidents, the 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt westbound on I-10 at approximately 9:46 p.m. when the vehicle went off the northern shoulder and overturned several times before coming to rest on the north shoulder of the interstate.

The accident occurred near mile marker 62 on I-10.
