Two Covington County players were selected to AL.com’s All-State High School Volleyball Teams that were announced on Friday, Jan. 12.

The all-state team consists of the top 14 players plus Player of the Year and Coach of the Year in each class along with honorable mention.

Pleasant Home had two of its seniors represented in Class 1A. Middle hitter Hailey Ward and outside hitter Meredith Wilson and were named to the list.

The Lady Eagles finished the 2023 season as the 1A Area 2 champions with a 19-8 record under head coach Tony Wilson.

Pleasant Home reached the quarterfinal round of the South Super Regional in Montgomery.
