Mrs. Mary Jo Mount, 91, of Andalusia, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at her home.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mount will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2 p.m., in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Red Coleman officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. No visitation will be held.

Mrs. Mount is survived by her siblings, Bobby Joe Gaines (Ann) of Huntsville, Margaret Gaines Sims of Brantley, and Ella Gaines Daniels of Elba; her children, Angie Smith of Andalusia, Greg (Debra) Mount of Andalusia, Alex (Lisa) Mount of Red Level; her grandchildren, Timothy John Mount (Katie), Bridget Mount, Stacey Jo Frank (Michael), Holli Angelia Smith, Julie Louise Moore (Wes), Emily (Kenny) Skipper, and Ethan Edson; her great-grandchildren, Samantha Mount, Owen Mount, Eleora Frank, Elisea Frank, Elikai Frank, Elia Frank, Mikaela Leigh Delk, Elijah Clen Delk, Asa Moore, Bree Moore, Elodie Moore, and Rowdy Skipper.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lori Harrelson, Stephanie Storm, and the countless others for the wonderful care they have provided to Mrs. Mary.

Mrs. Mount is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Douglas Mount, her parents, Joe and Oleta Gaines, and her grandson, Clen Wayne Smith.

Pallbearers serving the Mount family will be Daryl Mount, Chantz Robertson, Timmy Godwin, Duran Sherrer, Elijah Delk, and Charlie Harrelson

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Gantt in her honor. Donations can be dropped off or sent to 28776 Central St, Gantt, AL 36038.
