The Covington County Sheriff’s Office has located fugitive that was wanted on multiple felcony charges.
The Covington County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in its search for Brandon Brewster, 26. Brewster was wanted for multiple outstanding felony charges and outstanding warrants from three law enforcement agencies.
Investigators say Brewster was arrested Thursday evening, Sept. 21, in New Brockton.
“A special thanks goes out to our investigators, deputies and our K-9 tracking team. Coffee County Sheriff’s Office was also a huge help. Prior to his capture, Geneva County Sheriff’s Office along with the State Department of Corrections assisted as well. This was a multi-agency arrest,” said Sheriff Blake Turman.
Investigators said Brewster made previous threats to harm himself and was originally considered a danger to himself and possibly others.
“For those who might know Brandon, he will be in safe hands,” Turman said.
Brewster is being held at the Covington County Jail with two counts of felony theft and has holds from several surrounding counties.
