EMT students at LBW Community College had the opportunity to learn about medical flights thanks to a visit from the Haynes LifeFlight team on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

“We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated individuals who made this experience unforgettable: flight nurse Chryste Amos, flight medic Geoffrey Griffin; and pilot Michael Childers,” EMS Clinical Assistant Megan Hilliard said.

“Haynes LifeFlight was honored to meet with the EMT students of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia. Students were able to hear what capabilities our crews have and ask any questions they may have. Who knows, maybe some of them will become part of the Haynes Lifeflight family someday,” a Haynes Lifeflight statement read.

Haynes Lifeflight is located at 545 Hospital Drive in Wetumpka, Alabama.
