Williams named international president for ALA Board of Directors

Cunningham Bounds has announced that its Chief Operating Officer, Geoffrey M. Williams, CLM, MBA, M.Div. recently took office as International President of the Association of Legal Administrators and its Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term.
Williams is a 1985 graduate of Andalusia High School. After graduation, he continued his education with multiple degrees, including Princeton Theological Seminary, Huntington College, and Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

Williams has an extensive background in strategic management, financial management, and legal operations. Since 2009, he has served as the COO and CFO of Cunningham Bounds, one of the nation’s leading trial and litigation firms, and has been in the legal management profession since 2000. He is one of only 400 Certified Legal Managers (CLM) worldwide and earned the graduate certificate in law firm management from The George Washington University. He earned his MBA from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, his M.Div. from Princeton Seminary, and his BA from Huntingdon College. He has served on a number of professional boards and in leadership roles with several organizations including the Advisory Board of the Better Business Bureau of Central and South Alabama, and as a board member and Compliance Chair for the Better Business Bureau of South Alabama.
When he is not managing Cunningham Bounds, he enjoys consulting for businesses and leading strategic retreats. He has led many educational sessions and delivered keynote presentations for several professional organizations.
