Shirley “Teresa” Quick, age 60, of Chipley, Florida, departed this earthly life Friday, March 17, 2023, 2:40 a.m., at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.

Teresa is survived by husband, Chester Quick; daughters: Tia Flowers, Dixie Williams and husband, Derrick; sister, Deborah Cole and husband, Jerry; sisters-in-law: Sheila Turman, Cora Linton and husband, Jonathan, Arkie Quick; grandsons: Cody Pickron, Logan Pickron, Derrick Williams “DJ”, Devonte Williams “Deuce”, Deshawn Williams “Baby D or Thumper”; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Ida Merle Pearson, and her brother, David Turman.

A Celebration of Life service for Teresa will be held by the family at a later date in September 2023. Teresa loved her family. Her five grandsons were her world. Given the chance, she would proudly tell all who would listen about “her” grandsons. She has been described as “whatever we needed her to be…and always perfect with any role she took.” She had a passion for cross-stitching and cooking. She provided those with what they needed when they were in need, never wavering on providing or helping however she could. She will forever lovingly be remembered as the wonder woman she was.
