The Andalusia High School Bulldog soccer team dropped their season opener 10-0 to a talented Houston Academy Raiders team at home Tuesday, Feb. 7.
Although Andalusia was tenacious and active, the Raiders’ skill on both offense and defense carried them past the Bulldogs in the non-area contest.
This year’s AHS team is led by head coach Tony Norris. Team members are William Anderson, Braxton Bozeman, Jackson Brown, Cason Clarke, Noah Dewrell, James Duffy, Hunter Floyd, Barker German, Xavier Hourel, Hunter Lamber, Tyler Levitzke, Jasier Lindsey, Fred Luu, Adam Peacock, Noah Popwell, Ethan Posey, Kimora Pruitt, Wyatt Reaves, Andrew Shelander, Caleb Smith, Caden Stewart, Cobb Stewart, Andre Thomas, Aidan Vines, and Xsiah Walker.
Andalusia (0-1) next plays on the road against Greenville High School on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 5:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs return home for an area match against Trinity on Friday, Feb. 17, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m.
