Mrs. Earlene Chesser, age 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at home in Selma, Alabama. Prior to the last year, she was a lifelong resident of Red Level. She loved God and her family to the fullest.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mescilla (Gary) Lawson of Brewton and Midian (Jr.) Curry of Selma; grandchildren, Kim (Josh) Roberson of Woodstock and Georgia, Hobson (Marguerite) Curry of Tallassee, Alabama; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Roberson of Woodstock, Madison, Whitt, and Foster Curry of Tallassee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Chesser; parents, Jack and Lucy Walker; and a brother, Jack Edward Walker.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mott Church of Christ Cemetery in Red Level. Service will be officiated by Larry Turman and Scott Penn. Special music will be provided by Alan Lindsey.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Michael Bush, Cade Hudson, Bryan Walker, Jeff Walker, Justin Walker, and Nick Ziglar.
