Andalusia Health on Monday announced the addition of two pediatricians to its staff at the Andalusia Pediatrics Clinic, Srikanth Garlapati, MD, MPH and Srividhya Sridharan, MD.
Dr Garlapati, affectionately known as “Dr G.” by his patients, last served at West Virginia University as their Pediatric Resident since 2015; and Dr Srividhya, or Dr Vidhya, served as the General Pediatrician and Medical Director of Pediatrics at MVA Health Centers in Fairmont, West Virginia.
“My job is my passion and I thoroughly enjoy taking care of children from birth to teens. I believe in preventive medicine and involving family in the patient care. I have received a lot of love from this community, and I am excited to give back by providing excellent medical care. Am looking forward to meeting my patients and their families soon,” said Dr Garlapati.
“Being a mother of a 5-year-old, I can relate to the challenges faced in raising your child and I’m here to help you in every step of the way, to guide you and counsel you in your time of need,” said Dr Vidhya.
Andalusia Health officials said the addition of the two doctors will allow the hospital to expand its services.
“We are excited to have Dr. Garlapati and Dr. Vidhya joining our community and providing the opportunity to expand our pediatric services here in Andalusia,” said an Andalusia Health press release.
Andalusia Pediatrics provides pediatric services, including: well care checks, immunizations, asthma care, pediatric allergies, behavior evaluations, and pre-teen and teen health.
