James Woodrow Ramer, 74, passed away in his home in Lexington, North Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022.

Mr. Ramer was born Dec. 23, 1947, to the late James Carl Ramer and Cathleen Paulk Ramer in Andalusia. Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 at Carolina Baptist Church where he will be laid to rest. Officiating will be Johnny White.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Woody (Kim) Ramer of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; and daughters, April (Adam) Walker of Lexington, Sherry (Doug Hunt) Ramer of Archdale, North Carolina, and Susie Duncan of Lexington; sisters, Frances Rawls and Glenda Bess of Florala; mother of his children, Joan Biggs Ramer; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ouida Forehand; brother, Irvin Ramer; and nephews, Ronnie Ramer and Steven Rawls.
