Mr. Wayne Lavelle Clark, Sr., 91, of Andalusia, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 11 a.m., at The First Baptist Church of Andalusia with Brother Harrell Cushing officiating. Interment will follow at Rhoades Cemetery with full Marine Honors.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday one hour prior to services at The First Baptist Church of Andalusia.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sarah Nell Pierce Clark of Andalusia; two sons David Alan Clark (Nancy), Wayne Clark, Jr. of Andalusia; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark Loflin (Andrew), Mitchell Clark (Angela), Benjamin Clark (Samantha); two great-grandchildren, Julia Loflin and Lydia Loflin; one sister, Arnette Clark Cowen; and one brother, Thomas Clark.
Mr. Clark was a teacher and vice-principal at Pleasant Home School for 38 years. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time in his yard tending to his garden.
