Mr. Benjamin Harold Weant, 67 of Dozier passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan.

Funeral services for Mr. Weant will be Tuesday, May 24, 2 p.m., at New Song Community Church with Bro. Robert Canant officiating and interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 23, at Foreman Funeral Home and one hour prior to funeral service at New Song Community Church Tuesday, May 24.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Davis Weant of Dozier; his sons and daughter-in-law, Ben (Abby) Weant of Andalusia, and York Weant of Freeport, Florida; his daughter and son-in-law, Meg Weant (Casey) Castleberry of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Benjamin Houston Weant, Hadley Page Weant, Teagan Kathleen Stinson, Eleanor Rose Weant, Captain Wilder Castleberry, Maverick King Castleberry, Ace McCoy Castleberry; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Shirley) Weant of Dozier, Donnie (Judy) Weant of Dozier, Ferrell (Diane) Weant of Dozier; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth (Chet) Thrash of Dozier; his sister-in-law, Shirley Weant; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Helen Weant; his brother, Kenneth Weant; his nephew, Brian Weant, and his niece, Ashley Nicole Weant.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, New Song Community Church or The Andalusia Animal Shelter in memory of Benjamin Harold Weant.
