GALLERY: LBWCC holds spring Phi Theta Kappa induction

LBW Community College recently held a spring semester induction ceremony for 37 students into the Alpha Beta Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) international academic honor society.
PTK recognizes academic achievement and provides opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming. It is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 2.5 million members and 1,275 chapters around the world.
Requirements include a 3.5 grade point average or above, full-time student, good citizenship, and high moral standards.
The Alpha Beta Eta Chapter of PTK includes students attending LBWCC in Andalusia and Opp.

The Alpha Beta Eta Chapter was recently awarded the 2022 REACH Rewards honor for increasing membership during 2021.
