The first Covington County Invitational of 2022 at the county schools’ track facility was a huge success Friday, March 4 with over 400 athletes represented by 17 schools.
“This is our biggest track meet we have hosted at our track and field facility since it was built a couple of years ago. Teams from all over come to our facility each year, and it is always a big event for our schools and the community. We are grateful to everyone who helps put this event on and look forward to hosting an AHSAA sectional in the future,” CCS Superintendent Shannon Driver said.
