The time for the annual Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo is right around the corner and a favorite event held each year at the rodeo is the Snake Race.

The Opp and Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual snake race and is looking for businesses who would like to sponsor a snake for this annual event.

Which snake will “taste victory” with its forked tongue in the final heat of the snake race at the 2022 Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo as it glides right past the finish line?

“Just think, your business could possibly sponsor the winning slithery snake and then have bragging rights for a whole year as you display the rotating ‘Snake Race’ plaque,” said Opp Chamber Director Kelly Brandin.  “We would be highly honored to have you or your business sponsor a snake this year; your sponsorship would be a means of extending financial support to your local chamber. As always, our local chamber is thankful and grateful for its committed and generous investors.”
