All Firehouse Subs restaurants nationwide including the Andalusia location are now raising money to help tornado victims.
A deadly late-season tornado outbreak produced catastrophic damage and numerous fatalities across portions of the South and Ohio Valley from the evening of Dec. 10 into the early morning hours of Dec. 11.
The announcement comes on the heels of a $25,000 donation by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to the American Red Cross following the disaster. All funds collected benefit the foundation’s disaster relief fund, which aims to deliver food and support for disaster relief and recovery efforts as well as equipment grant requests from area organizations and relief agencies.
Founded 16 years ago in the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has a storied history of supporting communities and first responders. To date, the foundation has donated $62.5 million to hometown heroes in 49 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, with over $345,000 granted in just greater Montgomery alone.
For more information call 334-881-7827 or visit Firehouse Subs at 102 MLK Expressway in Andalusia across from Walgreen’s. The restaurant is open daily from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.
