Mr. James “Jimmy” Lowman, age 79, of Andalusia died Thursday, Nov. 18, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 22, 11 a.m., at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Lee officiating. Interment will follow the services at Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goodhope Cemetery fund in memory of James H. Lowman.

Mr. Lowman was preceded in death by parents: Benjamin A. and Julia S. Lowman; brother: Benjamin A. Lowman, Jr., and sister: Sara A. Glisson.

Mr. Lowman is survived by his wife of 53 years: Virginia R. Lowman of Andalusia; sons: Jason A. Lowman of Pell City, Alabama and Lee D. Lowman of Andalusia; sister: Margaret A. Turner of Mobile.

Pallbearers will be Blake Turner, Hampton Turner, Dale Glisson, Dwain Davis, Tom Watt, Ronnie Lane, Ross Henderson, and Dennis Sellers.
