Dorothy Louise Meredith

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Meredith, of Andalusia, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, in Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was 77.

Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing and shopping.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eugene Meadows officiated. Interment followed in the Abel Cemetery. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors include her mother, Willie Merle Kendrick of Florala, son, Maurice Barnett of Andalusia, daughters, Melody (Robert) Hatfield of Commerce, Georgia, Scarlett Adams of Opp and Sonya Martin of Bessemer, sister, Angie (Wayne) Gatlin of Troy, Alabama, Juanita Snipes of Andalusia, 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Meredith,  father, W.R. Duke, and sister, Patricia Bass.

Serving as pallbearers were Jonathan Barnett, Waylon Barnett, Daniel Adams, Donald Daris, Jayson Sasser, and Maurice Barnett.
