Mr. Ovie A. Wambles, Sr. died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Foreman Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Boles and Reverend Gary Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Mark McIntrye, Brian Wambles, Mathew Barnes, Joey Meadows, Randy Templeton, Dalton Templeton, Eric Martin, and Ronnie Hart.

Mr. Wambles was preceded in death by Betty Jo Wambles, Lillian Alred, Susie Hicks, Pauline Moats, Jewel Mock, Oscar Wambles, Coley Wambles, and John Wambles.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Wambles is survived by two sons: Charles and Barbara Wambles of Andalusia; Ovie and Susan Wambles, Jr. of Andalusia four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother: Jimmy Wambles of Andalusia.
