The Andalusia Police Department is investigating a shooting with minor injuries that occurred Thursday evening on Oak Street, Police Chief Paul Hudson said.

Hudson said the victim is being treated in a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect has not been identified, but officers are looking for a sliver Mercury Grand Marquis with chrome rims.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the APD at 222-1155.
