Opp up three spots in latest ASWA football poll

Opp is the lone Covington County team ranked in the most recent Alabama Sports Writers Association football rankings released Wednesday.

The Bobcats moved from number 10 in last week’s poll to number seven this week in Class 3A. Opp will play county rival Straughn at home Friday night.

Andalusia is still listed among four teams receiving votes in Class 5A with a single vote. The Bulldogs welcome Bibb County for homecoming Friday night. BCHS fell four spots to number 10 in Class 4A after being ranked number six in the previous poll.
