Straughn 47, Bullock County 20

The Straughn Tigers improved to 3-0 on the season, capturing a region win on the road to Bullock County, 47-20.

The game stayed close early as the halftime score stood at 12-6. But, Straughn found momentum on offense to pull away from Bullock County.

Straughn will host Ashford next week for another region game.

Samson 30, Florala 20

Florala fell to 0-2 on the season after dropping to Samson Friday night, 30-20, in the school’s first region contest of the season.

Florala will look to score their first win of the season in another region matchup next week when they host Georgiana.
