Mr. Howard Junior Philyaw of Holt, Florida, and formally of Andalusia passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, in a Crestview hospital. He was 70.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia.

Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Sandra Miller-Philyaw of Holt, Florida; children, Tiffany Smith of Dothan,  Lindsey Philyaw of Panama City Beach, Florida, Lucas Rawson (Lugenia) of Opp, Christine English of Jasper, Alabama; three grandchildren, Daryin and Kayla Rawson of Little Elm, Texas, and Isac Ceil Philyaw of Panama City Beach; a brother, Jerry Philyaw of Brewton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Philyaw served his country in Vietnam and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
