LBW Community College recently unveiled new academic and athletic logos.

“As the college expands its services and outreach efforts, I’m proud for us to have an image that represents who we are,” said LBW President Dr. Brock Kelley.

“This rebranding project has positioned us to continue that growth and will unify us as an institution as we move forward.”

The torch and the fleur-de-lis have long been important symbols at LBW Community College. The new branding for LBW brings those two images together as the “Fleur-de-Torch.” The classic fleur-de-lis is an important connection to the LBW nickname of “Saints.” The torch represents both the illumination of the world through education and knowledge while also symbolizing the leadership found at LBW which lights the way for knowledge and discovery.

As part of the rebranding campaign, the LBW Athletics Program also has an official, customizable logo that will benefit recruitment efforts.

This summer, the Seth Hammett Gymnasium received a facelift including a freshly painted floor complete with the updated logo, installation of volleyball nets for the new women’s volleyball program, and painting of interior walls.

“Throughout the fall semester, branding updates will gradually be made to ensure consistency among the various programs, departments and locations,” said Marketing Director, Maggie Mash.

“A re-designed website that reflects the updated brand will also go live following the start of fall classes in August.”

Apparel with the new academic and athletic brands is available for purchase through the BSN Fan Gear store. Visit lbwcc.edu for more information and to purchase apparel.

The LBW Community College Foundation also received a refresh with a new, coordinating logo.

All logos were developed in partnership with Rickabaugh Graphics. Rickabaugh is a national design firm and an official NJCAA logo design and branding partner.
