Covington County woman killed in crash
A vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Covington County woman.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jenna Victoria Tuberville, 22, of Andalusia was killed in a single-car crash Tuesday morning.
Officials said Tuberville was traveling south on CR 17 when her 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis left the roadway, struck and embankment and overturned. Both Tuberville and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Tuberville was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger was transported to an area hospital.
The crash occurred approximately 4 miles south of the Andalusia city limits. No further information is available as ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues its investigation.
