Individuals, families or church groups are encouraged to come by on their way to or from church to a candle-lighting/prayer vigil on Wednesday, January 20, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Andalusia at the Courthouse in recognition of the Sanctity of Human Life.
Spend a few moments in personal prayer for the unborn, those experiencing the pain of a past abortion and for our country to one day value every human life again. Sav-A-Life asks people wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Sav-A-Life of Covington County is organizing the candle-lighting/prayer vigil in memory of over 63 million unborn babies lost during the past 48 years since abortion on demand during all nine months of pregnancy was legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court on January 22, 1973 (Roe vs. Wade).
Speakers are available for Sanctity of Human Life services in Sunday School classes, church services, or civic groups. Sav-A-Life’s Family Hope Center is located in Andalusia at 116 Crescent Street, around the corner from the Covington County Courthouse. For more information, call Sav-A-Life at 334-222-0644.
