The Andalusia Police Department is seeking information about a suspect in a strong-arm robbery that occurred Thursday morning.

Capt. Paul Dean said the APD received a report of the robbery at the Stop-N-Go on the MLK Expressway at 11:59 a.m.

The suspect is identified as a white male who was wearing a straw gardening-type hat, a dark-colored T-shirt and jeans, a medical mask and gloves.

“The suspect left on foot headed south on 6th, away from the By-Pass,” Capt. Dean said.

Investigators request that anyone who was in the area at the time and might have seen the suspect or knows his identity, please call the Andalusia Police Department at (334) 222-1155, and asked to speak to someone in criminal investigations.

No one was injured, he said. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
