Because of ongoing developments with COVID-19, the ASO has unfortunately had to cancel its upcoming performance of The Music of Queen. This concert was planned for Thursday, April 30, at the Alabama Theatre.

We ask that ticket holders to this event please hold on to their tickets and await upcoming communication from the ASO. Please be patient with us as we navigate this unprecedented situation.

Our decision, like all at the ASO, is made with the thoughts and wellbeing of our patrons, musicians, staff, and guest artists in mind. The Orchestra had prepared an outstanding performance of some of Queen’s most iconic tunes, and we hope that we can share it with you in a future season.

We hope that you will continue to help the orchestra stay strong during this public health crisis. Today, every gift matters as lost revenue from canceled concerts has a direct impact on the ASO’s ability to share the great music you love with our community. In order to protect the safety and well being of our community, the ASO will continue to closely monitor updates and recommended guidance from the CDC, UAB, and the Alabama Department of Health. We look forward to sharing live orchestral music with you again soon.

The Alabama Symphony Orchestra stands in solidarity with all of those affected with the outbreak of COVID-19. We hope you, your loved ones, and others stay in good health during these times.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our office at 205.314.6915. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and love as we face these extenuating circumstances.
