Children and parents alike get ready to munch on cookies and dance with characters at the 14th Annual Meredith’s Miracles Cookies with Characters, this weekend.
“Meredith’s Miracles has grown so much and is reaching so many families. There are many opportunities to get involved including volunteering, sponsoring, and attending. Just this year this organization has helped with 58 cases and reached 58 families.” Kiley Spears, executive director of Meredith’s Miracles, said.
The event will be held at the Kiwanis Center and pre-ticket sales are encouraged. Saturday doors will open at 11 a.m.
The first show will start at noon and will end at 2:30 p.m.
Following will be the second show. Doors will open back up at 4 p.m., and the show will be at 5 p.m.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, there is a show on Sunday. Doors for the Sunday show will open at 2 p.m. and the show will begin at 3 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets are encouraged and can be picked up at Meredith’s Miracles Office located at 408 East Three Notch Street or you can get them at Harold’s Home located at 526 E Three Notch Street.
Three shows will take place and individually each show will cost $5 per person and includes a cookie, show and autographs. Pictures are separate cost.
“The best way to prepare is to know which show you want to attend and bring money as if you were going to the fair.” Spears said.
