Andalusia Isshinryu members place high in Brewton

Competition Team members from Andalusia Isshinryu Karate competed in the Battle of Murder Creek Martial Arts Tournament in Brewton on February 22.
It was hosted by Innerfit Martial Arts of Brewton, and was sanctioned by the Alabama Karate Circuit. “Our congratulations to Rachel White and Lisa Cunningham of Innerfit Martial Arts on a successful tournament,” Mark Rudd said.
Andalusia’s team represented well, including 18 first-place finishes. Individual results as follows:
- Braydon Walker – purple belt 1st place weapons, 1st place kata, 1st place fighting
- Brianna Walker – blue belt 1st place weapons, 1st place kata, 1st place fighting
- Johnathan Rudd – purple belt 1st place weapons, 1st place kata, 1st place fighting
- Bryson Meeks – yellow belt 1st place weapons, 1st place kata, 1st place fighting
- Samuel Ray – orange belt 1st place kata, 1st place fighting
- Nicholas Brunson – yellow belt 1st place kata, 3rd place fighting
- Nathan Rooker – brown belt 1st place weapons, 2nd place kata, 2nd place fighting
- Grant Wardle – yellow belt 1st place kata, 3rd place fighting
- Jaxson Newton – yellow belt 2nd place kata, 1st place fighting
- Dhilan Patel – blue belt 2nd place weapons, 2nd place kata, 2nd place fighting
- Cooper McKinney – blue belt 2nd place kata, 2nd place fighting
- Jonathan Ray – yellow belt 2nd place kata, 2nd place fighting
- Braydon Dunn – yellow belt 2nd place fighting
- Blane Clairmont – white belt 2nd place fighting
