HILDA PARRISH BOSWELL
Mrs. Hilda Parrish Boswell, 81, of Andalusia, passed away in Pensacola, Fla., on Tue., Nov. 19, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Thu., Nov. 21, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Dr. Bob Madsen will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2 p.m., until 3 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home on Thursday.
Hilda made a career triumphing American textile workers’ rights with the AFL-CIO for 32 years. Throughout her career and following retirement, she always made family a priority. As the matriarch of the family, her home was the center of many family events and cherished memories.
She is survived by her husband, James Presley Boswell of Andalusia, AL; a daughter, Belinda Parker McAda and her husband M. Scott McAda, both of Freeport, FL; a step-daughter, Mimi Jai Boswell Matthews and her husband Michael Matthews, both of Jay, FL; her grandchildren, Wes McAda and his wife Nilka McAda, both of Bryant, AR, Will McAda and his wife Jane McAda, both of ShenZhen, China, Amanda Brooke Arnold and her husband Ben Arnold, both of Pensacola, FL, Zack Layton of Pell City, AL; five great grandchildren, Victor McAda, John McAda, Jacob Arnold, Howard McAda, Chloe Arnold, and Zander Layton; one brother Douglas R. Parrish of Dothan, AL; and a niece Beverly Parrish and her husband Warren Skinner, both of Flowery Branch, GA.
She is also survived by cousins Stephanie Theus, Diane Black, Ron Aplin, Andre Brown, Susan Stewart, Dewayne Borders, Hollie Billcliffe, Donna Austin, Sara Grace Austin, Carlin Austin, Cora Rose Austin, Amy Farmer, Anne-Parrish Owen, Nia Aplin, Emma Aplin, and Brooke Aplin.
ADMIRAL EDGE SENN
Mr. Admiral Edge Senn, 91, of Andalusia, Alabama passed away Sun., Nov. 17, 2019, at the home of his sister who cared for him in his last days. Mr. Senn was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Louise Gantt Senn; Daughter, Tammy Elaine Senn; and son, David Pollard Senn.
He is survived by daughter Kathy (Lavon) Arthur, son Wesley (Cathy) Senn, and daughter Laurie Armendariz. Eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, his sisters Geraldine Hudson of McMinnville, and Linda (Billy Joe) DeRamus of Troy.
Funeral service will be at Coldwater Congregational Church Sun., Nov. 24, at 2:30 p.m., with interment following in the church cemetery.
Bro. Hank Roberts will conduct the service.
Flowers can be delivered to the church the day of the service or donations can be made to the Andalusia Animal Shelter.
