HILDA PARRISH BOSWELL
Mrs. Hilda Parrish Boswell, 81, of Andalusia, passed away in Pensacola, Fla., on Tue., Nov. 19, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thu., Nov. 21 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Dr. Bob Madsen will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2 p.m., until 3 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home on Thursday.
She is survived by her husband, James Presley Boswell of Andalusia; a daughter, Beldina Parker McAda of Freeport, Fla.; a step daughter, Mimi Jai Boswell Matthews of Jay, FL; her grandchildren, Wesley (Milka) McAda, William (Jane) McAda, Amanda Brooke (Ben) Arnold, Zack Layton; four great grandchildren, John McAda, Jacob Arnold, Howard McAda, Chloe Arnold; one brother Douglas R. Parrish of Dothan; and sister and brother-in-law, Beverly Parrish and Warren Skinner of Flowery Branch, Ga.

WILLIAM TYSON “BUDDY” JAY
William Tyson “Buddy” Jay, born May 18, 1931 passed away at the age of 88 on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Andalusia Hospital. Buddy was a lifelong citizen of Andalusia, AL except for the time he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Ward Bell Television after returning home from active duty with the military. He owned and operated Jay’s Television Sales and Repairs for many years. He ran the PBS Television Station in Dozier, AL from which he retired. Buddy loved his family and friends and was a wonderful Dad, GrandDad, son and brother. He was always giving people a place to stay when they needed a home. He was a kind an gentle person and made friends wherever he went. He loved to bowl and bowled many perfect games. He accepted Jesus just a few weeks ago and his family rest in knowing that he is in Heaven and looking forward to the day we will all be together again.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Randall Jay of Andalusia and his daughter, Tyna Barth, of Andalusia; five grandchildren, Van (Samantha) Jay, Brandi Jay, Randi Jay and Tyson Lee all of Andalusia and Tori Jay of Greenville, AL; 14 great grandchildren, his four sisters, Katy Cheshire, Florala, AL, Doris Carroll Bowen, Shirley Armstrong, of Andalusia, Linda Owens (Don), of Rainbow City, AL, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Erma Ramer Jay, Baby daughter, Marsha Jay, his beloved granddaughter, Melissa Lee, his parents, J.A. (Van) and Bessie Jay, his sister and brother-in-law, Fosteen and Leamon Hudson, brother-in-laws Stanley Bowen, Hiram Cheshire and Bobby Armstrong.
The funeral will be held on Thu., Nov. 21, at 2 p.m., at Adellum Baptist Church. The Rev. Billy Boles and Rev. Winston Jay presiding. Pallbearers will be nephews, Todd Carroll, Ricky Watts, Clay Nelson, grandson, Van Jay, great nephews, Brandon Johnson and Patrick Watts. Burial will follow at Adellum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Wed., Nov. 20 at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services. Foreman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the nurses and Drs. of the Andalusia Emergency Room and ICU for their kindness and loving care during Buddy’s last days. A special thanks to Buddy’s niece and nephew Christy and Ricky Watts for their love and support and always being there to help when needed. Buddy will be missed by his special friend and brother-in-law, Don Owens. They spent many, many hours on the phone watching and discussing Alabama Football and politics.

Rev. Graham Tucker, 83, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Nov. 16, 2019.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wed., Nov. 20, 2019, at Red Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Pete Dunn officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tue., Nov. 19, 2019, from 5:30 p.m., 8 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home.
Rev. Tucker is survived by his wife, Peggy Tucker of Andalusia, son Stephen Tucker of Andalusia, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Scott Ziglar of Andalusia, grandchildren, Rachel and Bob Harris, Allison and Wesley Chisum, Tiffany and Reese Gill, Erica and Nathan Mancil, Maddy Taranto, Justin Ziglar, Colton Barnum, great grandchildren, Joshua and Jax Harris, Tucker and Wyatt Chisum, Emma Grace Gill, two special daughters, Eileen Cooke of Diamond Head, MS., Anna Skipper of Picayune, MS., Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joel and Margie Gardner of Daphne, AL., Dale and Vickie Gardner of Grand Bay, AL., Danny and Linda Garner of Mobile, AL., Virginia Lollar of Mobile, AL., Ann and Dennis Baxendale of Bradenton, FL., ten nephews, five nieces, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Orie and Blanche Tucker; a sister, Orinell Tucker Gates; a brother-in-law, Jerry Lollar; and nephew, Kevin Gates.

MARGARET HOGG EILAND
Mrs. Margaret Hogg Eiland, 102, of Andalusia, passed away Wednesday November 13, 2019 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Fri., Nov. 22, 2019, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m., Friday.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Eiland of Andalusia, Caroline and Larry Busbee of Milton, Fla.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Kay Eiland of Anniston, Ala., John and Reida Eiland of Dothan and Joe and Linda Eiland of Birmingham; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a half sister, Marinelle of Pascagoula, MS.

Betty Joyce Wiggins Whitman, 72, of Opp, passed away in Columbus, Ga., on Sun., Nov. 17.
