A man deemed the Poseyville Prowler by Sheriff Blake Turman was caught this week after several nights of a game of “cat and mouse.”

Turman said that Micheal Chandler was caught late Wednesday night by reserve deputy James O’Brien.

Turman said that O’Brien observed the presence of “this shady character” around River Falls.

“O’Brien notified on-duty deputies and stayed with him while they arrived,” Turman said. “Deputy Zach Neitsch arrived at the ‘prowler’ was detained and interviewd.”

Turman said Chandler is “from parts unknown” and allegedly was in possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance and marijuana.

He was booked into the Covington County Jail on a $20,500 bond.

“I know that Jimmy and many others have been looking for this fellow for several days now,” Turman said. “Jimmy has done a great job.”
