The Andalusia Police Department has identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by an automobile Monday night.

Laura Marie Bell, 42, died at the scene.

The accident occurred on Stanley Avenue between Guardian Angel and Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

The investigation is continuing, and charges are not anticipated, Capt. Jamey Wismer said.
