The Opp Police Department received a $1,000 donation from MFG Alabama in Opp on Monday.

OPD Chief Kevin Chance said it is a thing that MFG Alabama does every year to show their appreciation.

“It’s a little ‘Thank you for your service,’ thing they do every year or every other year,” Chance said. “We use it to buy needed equipment such as tasers, batteries and whatever else we need at the time.”
