The Andalusia Police Department is seeking help in identifying four suspects in a burglary and attempted robbery in which one man was shot early Friday morning.
Police Chief Paul Hudson said the department received a report between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Friday morning of a possible burglary and gunshots.
Hudson said four people kicked in the door of a house and made demands of a person who was at the house. When the person did not cooperate, the suspects shot him in the leg and fled on foot from the Barton Street residence. Three adults and two small children were in the house at the time the incident occurred, he said.
The victim was transported to Andalusia Health and was later released after being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Lt. Jody Scott at the Andalusia Police Department, 334-222-1155, ext. 3107.
