READY FOR THE ACTION TO START: PHS youth football excited for the season

The Pleasant Home youth football league is prepped and ready for the upcoming season.
Pleasant Home begins the season with a jamboree on Aug. 24.
The Eagles open up the regular season with a road trip on Aug. 31 to take on the Brantley Bulldogs.
Pleasant Home’s home opener will be held on Sept. 7 when the McKenzie Tigers come to town.
On Sept. 14, Pleasant Home travels to Highland Home for a battle with the Flying Squadron.
The Eagles return to Pleasant Home on Sept. 21 for a battle with the Kinston Bulldogs.
Pleasant Home travels to Luverne on Sept. 28 for a game with the Tigers.
One Oct. 5, Florala comes to Pleasant Home for a battle.
The Eagles will have a bye week on Oct. 12.
Pleasant Home returns to action on Oct. 19 whent they host Samson.
Pleasant Home hits the road on Oct. 26 when they travel to take on the Red Level Tigers.
The game against Red Level will be the final game of the regular season.
The first round of the playoffs will be held on Nov. 2 in Red Level.
Round two will be held in Brantley on Nov. 9.
The third round of the playoffs will be on Nov. 16 in McKenzie.
The league’s Super Bowl and Cheer Competition will be held on Nov. 23 in Florala.
There is still time to sign up to participate in the 2019 Pleasant Home Youth Football and Cheer League.
The final sign ups will be held tonight at Pleasant Home’s Meet and Greet.
One will need to bring a birth certificate and a $20 registration fee.
Ages 5-8 will play in the Tiny Mites League.
Ages 9-10 will play in the Termites League.
Ages 11-12 will play in the PeeWee league.
Ages determined as of Aug. 1, 2019.
