THESE DOGS ARE READY: AYFL gets things started this weekend

The Andalusia Youth Football League is excited to get the season started this weekend in Red Level.
Andalusia will start the season on Aug. 10 in Red Level beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The following week on Aug. 17 Andalusia will travel to Florala for a game at 5:30 p.m.
Andalusia will play in the Straughn jamboree on Aug. 24 beginning at 9 a.m.
The Bulldogs’ home opener and regular season opener will be on Aug. 31 against Baker.
All regular season games will begin at 10 a.m.
W.S. Neal will host the Bulldogs on Sept. 7.
Andalusia will host Poarch on Sept. 14.
The Bulldogs stay at home on Sept. 21 when they host Northwest Escambia.
Jay comes to Andalusia on Sept. 28 for a battle with the Bulldogs.
Andalusia will hit the road on Oct. 5 for a game with the Brewton Tigers.
The final regular season game of the year will pit Andalusia against Straughn.
That game will be played in Straughn.
On Oct. 19, the first round playoffs will be played in Jay.
The second round of the playoffs will be held on Oct. 26 in Excel.
The cheer and football championship will be held in Flomaton on Nov. 2.
The season will officially come to an end on Nov. 16 in Andalusia with the Big Iron Bowl.
